Test Technician

Requirements

• Electronic training (technical certificate)
• Troubleshooting skills
• Familiar with the use of test equipment (power supply, multimeters, oscilloscopes, etc)
• Using/managing test and calibration systems
• Organization skills (calibration certificates, test documents, quality documents)
• Familiar with ISO17025 quality/calibration system
• Customer interface on returns/repaired units
• Equipment certification (calibrated and traceable) coordinating
• Soldering skills (soldering/de-soldering)
• Wire stripping and tinning
• Component recognition (resistors/capacitors, etc.)
• Following assembly documentation (BOM to assembly prints)
• Following instructions, working with engineers
• Familiar with crimping tools
• Assist in the shipment of product
• Manual dexterity
• Self-starter- communicator
• Good quality practice – corrective action
